The Center for Korean Studies will host the 13th international conference of the Pan-Pacific Association of Applied Linguistics August 20-22, 2008. The editors of Korea Yearbook – Politics, Economy, Society, published since 2007 by Brill (Leiden and Boston), are soliciting proposals for articles to be included in the 2009 edition of the yearbook. The publication is edited by Rüdiger Frank, James E. Hoare, Patrick Köllner, and Susan Pares.
